Who should attend?
Any new or existing user looking for guidance into instrument setup, operation, calibration, and/or application method development.
These training seminars are designed for scientists, chemists, technicians, and managers with any level of familiarity with instrumentation. The information presented will be helpful for those who run equipment day-to-day, manage their use, or simply rely on data.
Do we need training?
Generally high tech equipments requires an understanding of the instrument and specifications, available design and software, proper sample preparation practices. Some training with fall under mandatory safety training. In these cases access to the high tech equipment will be denied until the training has been completed. Lab users will not be allowed to start work until they have received appropriate training in the use of the equipment they intend to use. Damage to equipment caused as a result of misuse by untrained workers will not be covered by warranty.
We are proud to offer training and seminars focused on strategies for a systematic approach to getting the most accurate information of offered products. Check the different types of courses and training below for information about topics typically covered during the course.
All courses are fee-based.
Our training advantage begins when your Instruments are installed by our Service Representative. During the installation, a Field Service Representative will demonstrate how to do the following:
- Calibrate and/or verify the new instrument
- Prepare an instrument – issued demonstration sample for analysis
- Use the software to create an experimental method and perform an experiment
- Use the software to analyze the data collected
The Theory & Applications Courses are one-day lecture based courses designed to familiarize the user with an understanding of the specific instrument technology, method development, operating techniques and applications. Attendance in the courses can also be purchased for a module for one person per instrument purchase. The courses are scheduled at regular intervals, sometimes in conjunction with the Hands-On Courses.
The Hands-On Training Courses are two-day courses that are taught entirely in the lab in front of the instruments. Class size is limited to ensure an ideal learning environment. Topics include Basic Theory, instrument and software operation, calibration, and applications. All courses are fee-based. The courses are scheduled at regular intervals, sometimes in conjunction with the Theory & Applications Courses.
On-site training will be carried out by an authorised and qualified member. Our trained staff will provide you with intensive training and will answer any of your questions. The detailed trainings for the start-up of new equipment will take place at your facility and can last up to a full day, depending on your needs. They include instruction in the control, correct handling, troubleshooting and programming of the devices.
Our Onsite training courses are designed to give our customers the training they need in the most efficient manner possible. These customized courses take place at your site on your equipment with your samples. We will customize a course for you that is lecture based, hands-on, or a combination of both. A typical agenda might be as follows:
- Theory & Instrumentation – Lecture
- Applications – Lecture
- Calibration & Maintenance – Hands-on
- Running your samples – Hands-on
- Analyzing your data – Hands-on
Our qualified member will also support you on-site for upgrades, conversions or modernisations such as change controls, IQ, OQ, fat or sat documentation.
Qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Installation Qualification (IQ) , Operational Qualification (OQ) , Performance Qualification (PQ) are requested for routine, scheduled qualification of laboratory systems, and for first time qualification of several recently purchased units. Qualifications are done routinely: after component replacement or repair, following a facility or instrument move in a GLP/cGMP facility, and when subject to inspection, audit or review. Qualifications can incorporate existing manufacturer protocol and/or client’s existing protocols. Qualifications will be conducted by an independent outsourced service provider, rather than an employee of the company, as it is important to ensure compliance.
If you want to familiarise new personnel professionally with the handling of the equipment or operation of the equipment, you can book additional training at any time.
*Available for Only customers based in Norway and Sweden.
We offer a variety of training opportunities via the Internet. e-Training opportunities include the following:
QUICKSTART e-TRAINING COURSES
QuickStart e-Training courses are designed to teach a new user how to set up and run samples on their analyzers. These courses are available whenever you are. These pre-recorded courses are available to anyone. Typically these courses should be attended shortly after installation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Key benefits will:
- Reduce operational costs
- Minimize protocol administration burdens
- Maintain control with traceability and streamlined support through one service provider. (Traceable calibration of measurement tools, traceable chemical reference standards and standard operating procedures (SOP) are included.)
Sometimes during a Qualification, an instrument fails. In this case, real time failure resolution may be performed by the service technician on site. With Qualifications, instrumentation data has integrity, in accordance with manufacturer, customer, government regulatory and industry standards. That’s why some clients have us perform Qualifications on a semi-annual basis. Qualifications assure that general system operations function correctly, audit trails capture correct information, and so on.
Documented verification that system components and support systems have been installed correctly and completely. IQ is performed In accordance with manufacturer and customer requirements, government regulations and industry standards.
Documented verification that system components operate properly in accordance with manufacturer and customer requirements, government regulations, and industry standards. OQ establishes confidence that the components are capable of consistently operating within the established limits and tolerances required by the systems they support.
Documented verification that the total system performs as intended. PQ establishes confidence that the system as a whole is capable of consistently performing within established limits.
After receiving purchase order confirmation, you will receive a form via email where you register for particular training course.
